and others.
The short film is, of course, only the beginning.
It is intended to lead into Dark Landings the series, at least two seasons
of ten episodes each that already have been prepared, as detailed below.
SEASON TWO Of Dark Landings has also been outlined and plotted. It includes a group of criminals who make one of the greatest mistakes it’s possible to make — they try to kidnap, rape, and murder Skye’s daughter Crissy. Add to this a reclusive mountain monk who miraculously saves a hiker who fell off a cliff, Skye’s husband Steve showing up in shocking and wonderful fashion, and then… Dark Marty and Good Artie — twin brothers who seem the Jekyll and Hyde of American crime. Dark Marty kills hookers, tries to rape and kill Detective Moon, succeeds in capturing Mac, but… You don’t threaten Roe’s detectives without eventually meeting her one-on-one yourself!
Dark Landings combines modern history, politics, and diplomacy with spiritual possibilities while tied to a modern US police procedural complete with strong characters, vivid villains, diabolical doings, and pernicious plots. Along with producing an excellent, well-received, and highly popular program we have two other goals.
One of our main goals Dark Landings is to draw attention to what happened in Argentina under the junta, especially the tragedy of the newborn Argentine children of the murdered “dissidents” who childless military families ‘adopted.’ The grandmothers of these children, shown in the picture to the left, still protest in front of the government offices in Buenos Aires every Thursday. They still hope to find their missing grandchildren (“Los Desaparecidos”).
About 350 children remain missing as of this writing. The Argentine government is now assisting in the search for them, but it would be wonderful to spread awareness and potentially help reunite even one family.
Dark Landings the Short was a great success. Our next goal is produce an engaging, valuable, and exciting episodic that is noteworthy for being unique and creative. Dark Landings does this by including dynamic good and evil characters, the better elements of a police procedural, and real history and realistic political drama that addresses numerous cultural and social concerns. It also incorporates mysterious and spiritual aspects. Importantly, Dark Landings is not a narrative of revenge but a tale of prevention, justice, and – possibly – karma
